Environmental Monitoring Program: Methodologies and Air Kerma Assessments at the Regional Center for Nuclear Sciences of the Midwest

This work presents an analysis of the Environmental Monitoring Program (PMA) of CRCN-CO, with a focus on air kerma measurements. The PMA is essential to ensure the containment of radioactive waste resulting from the Goiânia accident, as well as to guarantee compliance with the regulations of the National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN) and international standards. Additionally, it ensures adherence to the safety guidelines established by CNEN and international radiological protection standards.
